Following the storytelling tradition of classic ballet, La Sylphide relates the fortunes of James, a young bridegroom to be, who is lured into the forest by a Sylph who wanders into his farmhouse and falls in love with him.  Performed by The Royal Danish Ballet with choreography by August Bournonville. Produced in 1988 by NYC Arts with Denmarks Radio.
